Welcome to my blog! After immediately having my mind blown by Super Mario Brothers around 1987, I not only became a lifelong fan of video games, but found myself increasingly intrigued by the mysterious land that produced so many NES cartridges, jealous of the earlier access Japanese people had to all these games, and awed by the Americans who could actually learn the language. After some two decades of procrastination and false starts, in 2007 I finally got serious about learning Japanese. Today, I love working with and continuing the never ending quest to master the language. (Hell, I still make spectacular mistakes in my native tongue of English!)

I specialize in video game related translation and am currently most active on YouTube, (www.youtube.com/83chrisaaron) where thousands of Japanese commercials have been closed captioned in English.

Video games reviews and other original video content can be viewed at www.youtube.com/83chrisaaronextra.

How to support my work:
I'm thrilled just to translate Japanese and create content for an appreciative audience.
